French prospect Milan Prat will face Ecuadorian Abel Mina for the World Boxing Association (WBA) Intercontinental super welterweight belt this Saturday at the Grand Elysée in Rotherbaum.

The fight will be the highlight of a night of good action that will also feature heavyweights Felix Langberg and Patrick Korte fighting for the WBA Continental Europe belt. 

Prat is just 23 years old and will be going into a very important fight for him. First of all, it is his first opportunity for a championship of this magnitude and, on the other hand, it will be his first fight outside France, which puts him in an unknown situation and a good test for him. 

Mina, on the other hand, has fights in Panama, Mexico and Colombia, so he knows what it’s like to fight away from home. He is also going into his most important fight so far and knows what a win could mean for his career and his future chances. 

Prat has 18 wins and 15 knockouts, while Mina comes in with a record of 16 wins, 2 setbacks and 8 KOs.
