WBA #4 rated Jarrod Fletcher (18-1, 10 KOs) upset WBO #5/WBA #6/WBC #10/IBF #11 middleweight Max Bursak (29-2-1, 12 KOs) by unanimous decision in a foul-filled fight. Bursak was deducted a point in round two by referee Stanley Christodoulou for hitting behind the head and pushing down Fletcher. Christodoulou gave Bursak a stern warning for hitting after the bell in round three. Fletcher was cut over the right eye by an accidental headbutt in round six. Christodoulou took another point from Bursak for pushing Fletcher down. Fletcher did a lot of rabbit punching but was never penalizeed. Scores were 115-111, 115-111, 114-112.
