Argentina’s Alberto Palmetta and American Jamal James will clash in a welterweight fight on February 25 in Armory, Minneapolis.

The bout will be a nice showdown between two fighters who are aiming to earn a world title shot in the short term, and it will also be an interesting clash of styles in the ring.

Palmetta, 32, is a southpaw fighter with a good amateur background who hasn’t lost in the pro ranks since 2017. He has been adapting in his career and will now get his biggest test yet. 

James is a former interim champion who is known for his height and his ability to fight the distance. He resurfaces after his loss to Radzhab Butaev in 2021and is looking to get his career back on track and return to the elite. 

Palmetta has 18 wins, 1 loss and 13 knockouts, while James has 27 wins, 2 setbacks and 12 knockouts.
