Hassan N’Dam, N’Jikam (36-2, 21KO’s) is set to defend his WBA World Middleweight Championship title against Ryota Murata (12-1, 9KO’s) in a rematch of their close split decision fight in May. The fight will take place at Kokugikan Hall in Tokyo, Japan, this Saturday and is to be aired live on ESPN2 and ESPN Deportes.

The first fight between these two fighters was highly controversial, with a split decision. N’Dam has always shown a very good fighting heart and is not the most difficult man to put down on the canvas but he is extremely difficult to keep there, as no one has been able to do yet in his 38 professional fights.

The Gold Medalist Murata has said that this rematch will be very different because he has gained a mental edge in knowing that he can hurt Murata and also, much more importantly, that he knows he belongs in the ring at the world class level.

The fight figures to be a very fun one to watch as round thirteen commences after an action-packed first fight that saw the much greener man pressing the veteran around the ring while looking to hand his big right hand.

It is great that ESPN picked up this fight; it will be fun for the North and South American fans to watch some boxing in the Sunday AM.
