British Martin Murray and Puerto Rican Gabriel Rosado faced each other at the last press conference prior to their match this weekend in Liverpool, England, where they will fight for the WBA Intercontinental Middleweight Title.

Murray, 34, is a long-time fighter who has fought three times for a world title. However, this battle is a new challenge and the WBA Intercontinental Belt at stake is very important for him.

“I’m ready to put my stamp back on the Middleweight scene. I believe I’ve got a World Title in me“, said the British and added: “It’s not going his way. It’s going to sway his side, then mine. But I believe I’m the better fighter and a level above”.

On the other hand, Rosado has fought twice for a universal diadem and hopes this WBA Intercontinental Belt will open the doors to a new World Title fight.

“I truly believe I’m the better fighter. Skill, speed. If I use my ring IQ I believe I’ll be able to do what I want,” said the Puerto Rican, adding: “I feel that the UK is buzzing, I’ve always wanted to fight there. I’m ready! This fight is very important“.

Murray has a record of 34 wins, 4 losses and a draw with 16 KOs, while Rosado has won 23 bouts, lost 10 and knocked out 13 of them.
