The Canastota Boxing Hall of Fame induction ceremony was held last Sunday, with several great fighters earning their place in the Hall of Fame. Floyd Mayweather Jr., Juan Manuel Marquez, Wladimir Klitschko and Miguel Cotto were some of the highlights of the event.

The event was very important and significant as it marked the return of the ceremony after three straight years of absence due to the pandemic. Fighters from the classes of 2020, 2021 and 2022 were present in a beautiful event that also included legends such as Roy Jones Jr. and Bernard Hopkins.

Emotional speeches and a large press presence marked a special day, which will be remembered due to the emotional charge and the figures in attendance.

The WBA congratulates all the honorees and applauds the return of the ceremony after the years in which it could not be held.
