Without any trouble took place the weigh in ceremony at the Cosmopolitan Hotel in Las Vegas, where the 140 lbs interim champion of the World Boxing Association, Mauricio Herrera and his challenger José Benavidez made the required weight for their Saturday battle.

“Maestro” Herrera (21-4, 7 KO) scored 139,5 lbs and Benavidez (21-0, 15 KO) scored 138,5 lbs.

The referee will be Russel Mora, while the judges appointed by the Nevada State Athletic Commission are Max de Luca, Dave Moretti and Erik Cheek.
