Another of the female fights that ignite the flame of expectation, would be confirmed for next August 6, in North American soil. The World Boxing Association 112 lbs. champion will expose the crown against the Venezuelan Eva Guzman, who is the mandatory opponent.

The Olympian, who represented the United States in London 2012, was crowned WBC world flyweight champion for June 2021 and in April this year she won the WBA black and gold belt along with The Ring belt by defeating Naoko Fujioka.

The Texas native, born on July 29, accumulates a total of 12 wins with 1 knockout and only 1 loss in what was an epic battle with her compatriot Seniesa Estrada.

Meanwhile, the native of Maracay, Venezuela, nicknamed “La Ley” for her profession as a lawyer, Eva Guzman, won the WBA interim world championship of the division in June 2021 against Isabel Millan in Mexico. Thus, she became the first female boxer champion of her country at 112 pounds.

Guzman owned the international belt at minimum weight, by the same entity, in 2018. She made the last presentation in the ring for November 2021 with triumph and holds a record of 19 fights won with 11 quick definitions, 1 fall and 1 draw.

While waiting for the definitive confirmation of the fight, both fighters hope to achieve the dream of an absolute reign.
