Former world champion Marcos René Maidana will be present at the World Boxing Association (WBA) exhibition during the sixth edition of the Box Fan Expo in Las Vegas, which will take place on Saturday, September 17.

The pioneer organization will be present at an event that has been growing over the years and that will serve as a prelude to the big fight between Saul Alvarez and Gennady Golovkin that same day. 

Attendees will have the opportunity to learn part of the history of boxing, admire pieces with great historical value, interact with different personalities and live a great boxing party.

Maidana was a fighter known for his great punching power and for being one of the most impressive punchers seen in recent years. He faced Mayweather on a couple of occasions and put him in trouble during both fights.

The Argentinean will join Roberto Duran, who will also be with the WBA in this event during the weekend.
