At the WBA KO Drugs

WBA Press. November 29.- The former world champion from Britain, Lennox Lewis  will be special guest of this new edition of the KO Drugs taking place on December 8, in Jamaica. In addition, American announcer Jimmy Lennon will also attend the event.

Lewis, regarded as one of the most solid heavyweight champions at the time, won 41 fights, lost two, and a draw with 32 KO’s.

He fought boxers like Evander Holyfield, Hasim Rahman, Mike Tyson, and Vitali Klitschko, among others outstanding boxing figures.

Lennon has been a great ally of the WBA family for many years, and once again he will be present collaborating in the WBA campaign against drugs.

The boxing card will take place at the National Indoor Sports Centre, in Kingston, capital of Jamaica, and will have three title fights, two of them female.

The Venezuelan Barroso Ismael may not participate, despite having been announced, due to a hand injury as he failed to recover in time to fight.

En el KO a las Drogas de la AMB

Prensa AMB. 29 de noviembre.- El ex campeón mundial, de origen británico, Lennox Lewis será invitado especial de la edición del KO a las Drogas que se realizará el 8 de diciembre, en Jamaica. Además, el anunciador estadounidense Jimmy Lennon dirá presente en el evento deportivo.

Lewis, considerado como uno de los campeones pesados más sólidos en su momento, consiguió 41 triunfos, con dos derrotas, un empate y 32 rivales adormecidos.

Se midió a peleadores como Evander Holyfield, Hasim Rahman, Mike Tyson, y Vitali Klitschko, entre otras destacadas figuras del pugilismo.

Por su parte, Lennon ha sido un gran aliado de la Familia de la AMB por muchos años, y una nueva vez estará presente colaborando en la lucha contra las drogas.

La cartelera que se realizará en el National Indoor Sports  Centre, de Kingston, capital de Jamaica, y tendrá tres refriegas por título mundial, dos de ellas femeninas.

El venezolano Ismael Barroso no podrá participar, a pesar de haber sido anunciado, debido a una lesión en su mano de la cual no logró recuperarse a tiempo para asumir el compromiso.
