The World Boxing Association Championships Committee received the request to postpone the Purse bid between Russian Denis Lebedev, Cruiserweight absolute champion and the Panamanian Guillermo “Felino” Jones, champion in recess.

Both parties said they were working in good faith and that they were close to an agreement, needing only to determine the date of the fight and for this reason they requested the postponement of the bid.

The event will now take place on Monday, January 27th, at 11:00 am at the WBA Headquarters located at Ave. Aquilino de la Guardia, Ocean Business Plaza, office 14-05, Panama, Panama.
