The American Laurence Cole will be the referee between the World Boxing Association welterweight world champion Adrien Broner and the international champion Marcos René Maidana. This will be the main fight on Saturday night program at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas.

The judges will be the American Levi Martínez, Puerto Rican Nelson Vázquez and South African Stanley Christodoulou.
