WBA super welterweight champion Erislandy “The American Dream” Lara (20-2-2, 12 KOs) scored a lopsided twelve round unanimous decision over former IBF jr middleweight beltholder Ishe “Sugar Shay” Smith (26-7, 12 KOs) on Friday night at the Illusions Theater at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas. All night long Lara’s speed, movement and accurate punching frustrated Smith who unable to initiate exchanges. In the end, scores were 119-109, 119-109, 117-111.
