The World Boxing Association (WBA) featherweight champion, the Mexican Mauricio Lara, and the challenger Leigh Wood, were in the public training that took place on Wednesday in Manchester.

The first promotional activity of the week served for both to show their physical condition and skills in front of the press and fans, in addition to a very interesting and entertaining one-on-one.

Lara and Wood will have their second fight after the former defeated the Brit last February in one of the best knockouts of the year. The direct rematch is filled with anticipation as to whether the Mexican can repeat history or Wood can take revenge for that first fight.

Both fighters and their teams worked out individually, posed for the cameras and gave statements to the press. Afterwards, they faced each other and continued to warm up for the fight.

This Thursday will be the last press conference and on Friday will be the official weigh-in, the last activity before they step into the ring on Saturday.
