The 175-pound light heavy weight champion of the World Boxing Association Sergey Kovalev and his challenger, Jean Pascal, almost fight almost before the opening bell at the press conference prior to their bout of this Saturday in Canada.

Both fighters were at the meeting with the media, and pose for pictures when Pascal faced the champion, tried to remove a CAP he on and the champion was annoyed. The situation ended there but left everybody excited for the fiht on Saturday at the Bell Centre in Montreal.

Kovalev (26-0-1, 23 KO) will defend for the first time the title he won in November 2014, while Pascal (29-2-1, 17 KO) will seek a WBA Crown for the first time.

The officials appointed by the WBO for the fight are the Puerto Rican Luis Pabón as the referee, along with Cesar Ramos (PUR), Zoltan Enyedi (HUN) and Richard Davies (UK), judges and the supervisor will be Mike McAleenan (US).
