The Japanese fighter Kohei Kono defeated Thai Denkaosen Kaovichit by KO, and won the super flyweight belt of the World Boxing Association, on Wednesday at the Korakuen Hall in Tokyo.

Kono, now is 30-8, 13 KO´s, and reigns for the second time in 115 lbs. Kaovichit is now 62-4-1, 26 KO´s.

During the first three rounds, Kaovichit took the initiative in the fight, making evident his experience on the ring. However, Kono connected the best blows and in the fourth round send Kaovichit to the canvas for the first time.

They kept on fighting and in the eight round Kono repeated his combinations and ended the battle.
