Leverkusen, Germany, will be the stage for the bout between Argentina’s Iara Altamirano and Turkey’s Elif Nur Turhan, who will fight for the World Boxing Association super featherweight gold belt on May 4.

Last January 7, Altamirano was present in Madrid, Spain, where she fought against local star Jennifer Miranda for the Gold Feather belt, but despite her good performance she did not get the victory.

Altamirano is ranked 9th in the WBA rankings at 126 pounds, but this time, she will try to up the ante by moving up a division to 130 and win the coveted Gold Featherweight crown.

In front of her she will have a tough Turkish boxing promise who keeps her numbers clean with 7 wins including 4 knockouts and no defeats.

Elif Nur Turhan made his professional debut in 2022, but has continued to shine on the IBA circuit until the first quarter of last year.

Turhan is 29 years old and is a positive boxing figure among the world’s elite as she has managed to seed Altamiranodes from her amateur career to widen her professional record to 9 wins, 1 loss and 1 draw.

The 27 year old Argentinean representative will be looking forward to this new opportunity against a golden test with Turhan.
