South African Hekkie Budler was awarded as the Boxer of the Month of the World Boxing Association, after knocking out Karluis Díaz last March 1.

Budler, with a record of 25-1, 8 KO’s, won the minimun belt at the Emperors Palace, Kempton Park in Gauteng, South Africa.

The Honorable Mention was given to Alberto Rossel, who retained his title on March 8.
