The 112 lbs flyweight unified champion, Mexican Juan Francisco “gallo” Estrada turns 25 years old today, and his WBA family wants to send him a warm greeting and best wishes of success.

Estrada is also WBO world champion. He was born in Puerto Penasco, Sonora, Mexico, in 1990 and is a professional Boxer since August 2008. His first world title shot was against the Nicaraguan Roman “chocolatito” Gonzalez, on November 17, 2012, in Los Angeles, California.

The battle for the WBA flyweight title remained Gonzalez’ hands, and since then the Mexican has requested the rematch stating that he needs to settle the score even.

On April 6, 2013 he challenged Brian Viloria, in the Cotai Arena of Macau, China, where he won by split decision. He has defended successfully four times his WBA – WBO championships.
