Haney: to reaffirm his position
Haney wants to make a big impression if he faces Lomachenko

Devin Haney has earned the position of the best lightweight in the world when the division is going through a great time. Despite the large number of top names at 135 pounds, the 23-year-old has worked his way up and holds the undisputed title.

Haney earned his status last June when he defeated George Kambosos Jr. in Australia. The American had everything against him as he was facing the reigning champion at home but managed to beat him convincingly in a great performance.

This rematch with the Australian this weekend is a way to show authority and reaffirm that he is the best. Haney comes out as a big favorite but with the responsibility of not being surprised by an opponent who has a personal motivation and desire for revenge.

The psychological aspect will be fundamental for Haney, who must keep the same hunger and desire despite having overcome the previous fight with ease. Keeping his concentration and displaying his best boxing will be the way to prove, once again, that he is on top.
