Gilberto Jesus Mendoza, president of the World Boxing Association (WBA), held a meeting with Mr. Luis Pérez Gutiérrez, governor of Antioquia, state in Colombia, this Monday.

During the meeting they talked about the 96th WBA Convention and the social impact that the event can bring to Antioquia. Additionally, they talked about the WBA Interim Bantamweight Champion, Dayana Cordero, and her next fight against the Venezuelan.

Undoubtedly, in all Antioquia, and especially in Medellín, you can already breathe the energy of boxing, which will officially arrive from October 30 to November 2.
