The World Boxing Association 160 lbs super World champion, Kazajh Gennady Golovkin made the public training prior to his up coming fourteenth defense against the North American Willie Monroe Jr, this Saturday at the Inglegood Forum, California.

He made the practise session with his trainer Abel Sánchez, before the media who did not waste the opportunity to talk to the champion.

While he losened up in the ring, with hand movements and doing shadow, he heard the question, Are you ready to fight Floyd Mayweather? Quickly the fighter answered, with his characteristic smile, “Ask Mayweather if he is ready for me”, which caused the laughter of those present.

Golovkin (32-0, 29 KO), also worked movements and mittens with Sanchez. He posed for all the reporters present, signed autographs for the public and then left.

Yesterday, Monroe Jr. (19-1, 6 KO), and all the fighters in the program also met training.
