WBA/IBF super middleweight champion Carl Froch and arch-rival George Groves faced off at Thursday’s final press conference before their mega-fight before 80,000 boxing fans at Wembley Stadium in London.
Carl Froch: I’m supremely confident for Saturday. As a team, Rob and I have done what we need to do, so just enjoy it…because of the titles, the stage of my career, the venue and George – this is the biggest fight of my incredible career…George Groves won’t hear the final bell.
George Groves: There’s 56 hours until I become a world champion. I cannot wait and it’s a perfect place for it to happen…anyone who has watched the build up knows we’re working on the left hook and that’s the punch that will win me the fight…it’s going to be one-sided.
