World Boxing Association (WBA) Continental Americas featherweight champion Raymond Ford will make another defense of his regional crown against veteran Jessie Magdaleno at the Boeing Center at Tech Port in San Antonio.

Ford, 24, is a technically gifted fighter who has held the championship since 2021. The American has been fighting between his country and England and has shown an important evolution, especially in his most recent fights. 

He will face a strong fighter like Magdaleno, who at 31 years of age has shown that he can take on any opponent in the division and that he can compete against whoever is put in front of him. 

Magdaleno comes in with five consecutive victories and feels ready to surprise a younger opponent and take the regional crown that will allow him great opportunities in the short term. 

Ford has a record of 13 wins, 1 loss, 1 draw and 7 knockouts, while Magdaleno has 29 wins, 1 loss and 18 knockouts.
