The WBA boxing family paid tribute to the memory of the World Boxing Association emeritus president, Gilberto Mendoza, in a holy mass held in Panama on March 14.  

Boxers, promoters, trainers, media members and friend got together to accompany the family to honor de life of a man who dedicated his life to the sport he loved, boxing. 

Gilberto Jesus Mendoza, WBA president thanked everyone for their attendance and their friendship. He repeated his compromise to work his best to lead the WBA, organization his father always honored.
