Erick Rosa is ready to return to the ring and defend his World Boxing Association (WBA) minimum weight crown against Carlos Ortega next July 15, in Santo Domingo.

The young Dominican wants to remain as champion and will make his first defense against the experienced Panamanian in a good challenge that he intends to overcome.

“I am in excellent physical condition and super well at a technical level, training hard and with absolute concentration to face the challenge of defending and retaining the title in my country”, said the “Minipacman” to the portal El Dia.

The 22-year-old southpaw fighter is undefeated in five fights and has shown what he is capable of in a competitive division. His goal is to continue growing and reach the world elite.
