Vargas, 18, made his debut on May 14 at the Inglewood Forum and defeated Mark Salgado by first round knockout. Now he will go to his second fight in such an iconic city as Las Vegas and will try to leave a good image in this event that will have great boxers in its program.
His opponent, Martinez, is also a 19-year-old fighter who also has one professional fight under his belt. He made his debut on May 7 and knocked out Rustin Jones in three episodes.
Vargas is the son of Fernando “El Feroz” Vargas and has followed in his father’s footsteps. Since he was a child he has been training and developing his skills to become a professional fighter. It will be a good fight between two prospects looking to maintain their undefeated young careers.
