World Boxing Association (WBA) heavyweight champion Daniel Dubois will defend his championship against South African Kevin Lerena next December 3 at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, Tottenham, London.

Dubois will make the first defense of the crown he won last June 11 when he knocked out Trevor Bryan in four rounds in Miami. The Brit will return home as champion on a big night that will see the return of Tyson Fury for his third fight against Derek Chisora in the main event.

The 25-year-old WBA champion comes in with three consecutive knockout victories, evidence of his hot streak, and he intends to continue that trend.

Lerena is a fighter who has earned the opportunity through hard work and effort. The intercontinental champion of the category has had great victories in his recent fights, which have led him to this point. At 30 years of age, he has not lost a fight since 2014 and comes with all the motivation possible to a very important fight for his career.

Dubois has a record of 18 wins, 1 loss and 17 knockouts. Lerena has 28 wins, 1 setback and 14 fights defined by the fast track.
