Emmeric Dewaele and Thoedsak Sinam will contest the vacant World Boxing Association (WBA) Asian super middleweight title on Friday at the Max Muaythai Stadium in Pattaya, Thailand.

The 36-year-old Frenchman and the Thai will have an interesting fight for the regional belt in a nice clash of veterans.

Emmeric has made his entire career in Thailand and after several consecutive victories a big opportunity has come his way. But he will have to face an opponent who is 10 years younger and has more experience in the ring, which will put the European’s undefeated record to a real test.

Sinam has a record of 16 wins, 8 losses and 13 knockouts, while Emmeric has 5 wins, no losses and 5 knockouts.
