Darius Fulghum put on a dominant display of firepower Saturday night, stopping Winfred Harris Jr. in the fourth round via TKO to successfully defend his WBA Continental USA super middleweight title at the Honda Center.

With the victory, the Houston native remains undefeated at 14-0, with 12 knockouts, and he wasted no time calling out the division’s top names, making it clear he’s ready for bigger challenges.

From the opening bell, Fulghum set the tone with relentless pressure, unleashing a high-volume attack that had Harris Jr. pinned against the ropes and corners, doing everything in his power to survive.

The second round saw Fulghum land a crisp combination straight to Harris Jr.’s face, sending him stumbling and ultimately down to the canvas for a knockdown.

By the third, Harris Jr. was running on fumes, visibly struggling to stay on his feet. Though he gamely threw back, his punches had little effect on a composed Fulghum, who knew he was firmly in control.

The fourth round was the beginning of the end. Fulghum turned up the heat once again, while Harris Jr., now in pure survival mode, dropped his stance, clinched, and held on for dear life. But there was no escaping the inevitable.

As the punches became heavier and more punishing, referee Jerry Cantu stepped in to wave it off, giving Fulghum another dominant win as he continues his march toward the top of the division.
