The Britt Jamie Cox defeated his countryman Lewis Taylor last Saturday to win the WBA Super middleweight Continental belt. 

Cox dominated the actions from the beginning of the fight and led the fight. However, an accidental head butt prevented the fight to reach the 12 rounds. 

In the ninth round, Taylor could not continue after suffering cut after a headbbut.  The doctor checket and said the fight should not continue. For that reason and following the rules the thye proceeded to go to the cards that gave the victory to Cox by technical decision: 88-83, 88-83 and 87-84.

At his 30  years, he is stil undefeated in 22 fights, 12  of them by ko
