The World champion Alys Sánchez is celebrating today a new birthday and the World Boxing Association sends its warmest greeting.

Sánchez is at present the WBA super bantamweight interim champion turns 27 years.

The Venezuelan champion better known as “La China” debuted in professional boxing in 2006 in Panama after acting in amateur boxing.

In March 2012 she defeated Paulina Cardona fighting for the Fedefem title and in December she became the Interim world champion after defeating María Elena Villalobos in Jamaica.
