Two great allies of the WBA family are celebrating birthday today, and we want to greet them with our best wishes. They are the TV journalist Juan Carlos Tapia and WBA Director Alberto Sarmiento.

Tapia is the founder and the image of the famous Panamanian TV program, Lo Mejor del Boxeo. He was born in Panama in 1942, and became a very influential journalist and critic not only on sports but also on politics.

For his part, Sarmiento is member of the WBA directory acting as Treasurer. He is an important asset of the organism for its good performance; he is also a member of the supervisors of fights having about three dozen supervision on his resume of service since 2000.
