The World Boxing Association express its warmest congratulation to the President Gilberto Mendoza, on his 68 birthday.  Mendoza was born on March 30, 1943 in Barquisimeto, Lara state, Venezuela, and has devoted much of his life to sports, especially boxing.

On behalf of all the Directorate Members, board members of the WBA, “Wish a very

happy birthday to our president”.

His son, Gilberto Jesus Mendoza, WBA Executive Vice President completes the “it is

very difficult for a child not to admire his father, but beyond this feeling, my

father is my heart, reason and spiritual guide of my life”.
