Spain’s Antonio Collado (16-1, 3KO) and Venezuela’s Leonardo Uzcátegui (23-9-3, 17KO) will fight for the first WBA-Iberoamerica lightweight title on October 5 at the Polideportivo Municipal de Morata de Tajuña in the Community of Madrid, Spain.

Both boxers are excited to become the first champion of the new region of the World Boxing Association (WBA) so a great battle is expected in which Collado will show his great technique and Uzcategui his great punch. In addition, both boxers are on a positive streak.

Collado’s last three fights have ended on the scorecards and he has shown great dominance over his opponents. While Uzcategui has won in the same amount of fights, only he has finished two of them by KO.

WBA-Iberoamerica was born with the purpose of developing a region that needed to be served by the WBA and give boxers the opportunity to approach the pioneer organization.
