The WBA Fighter of the decade, Chris “The Dragon” John was honored on Friday 18 by Indonesian president Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono at the Mandala Krida Stadium in Jakarta Indonesia.

John 48-0-3 with 18 World Featherweight title defences was presented with the Bintang Jasa Star medal, for outstanding contributions towards John’s native Indonesia the homeland of 242 million people.

This further cements John’s status as the Indonesian people’s champion and a national icon.
