The World Boxing Association (WBA) congratulates promoter Liu Gang for receiving recognition from the National Sports Bureau of China as an influential person thanks to his contribution to society through boxing. 

Gang is the CEO of Max Power Promotions and has worked for Chinese boxing by training talents and giving them opportunities to grow. He was a key player in Xu Can’s path to the world title and has organized various events within China with great quality and reach. 

With the recent lifting of the Covid-19 restrictions in China, Gang has reactivated the activity of his promotional company and several WBA Asian title fights have been held in the country.

The pioneer organization congratulates Liu Gang for this recognition and celebrates the return of his promotion to full activity with boxing events in a great country like China.
