For Jermell Charlo his next fight against Brian Castaño means a lot because beyond facing a complicated opponent like the Argentinean, he has the personal responsibility of proving to himself the quality of fighter he can be.

The World Boxing Association (WBA) champion comes from a draw against the Argentinean in a fight involving a lot of debate, in which people’s opinion on who did better was divided.

Charlo’s pride is known to the boxing world and the American has since indicated that his intention in the second fight is to bang on the table, put on an outstanding performance and show the world, once again, what he is capable of.

The 31-year-old Louisiana native will not only settle for a win but has said he intends to use his power punches as his main weapon and combine them with his speed to knock Castaño out, his main goal for the bout to be held in California.

The motivation of the WBA champion is evident and the quality has always been there. The most explosive version of Charlo wants to come out on top this weekend. Will he do it?
