American Marc Castro had a dream night in his debut as a professional boxer. In three rounds, he dispatched Mexican Luis Valdes to draw attention during the Canelo-Smith undercard in San Antonio, Texas.

Great power combinations and an outstanding technique immediately put Castro in the line of fire claiming the win, in the co-main fight of the night.

In previous results, heavyweight Frank “The Cuban Flash” Sánchez dominated his Mexican opponent Julián Fernández in seven rounds. In the same way, Raymund Ford overtook Juan Antonio López.

In addition, prospect Austin Williams didn’t want a long night, knocking out Isiah Jones at the very beginning. For his part, Cristian Gomez sealed his victory in three rounds over Angel Hernández, and the match between Alexis Molina and Robert Greenwood, the first match of the evening, ended in a majority draw.
