Argentina Brian Castano defeated the Frenchman Michel Soro last Saturday in France, to retain his World Boxing Association Super Welterweight interim title.

The fight was even. Neither made it easy for the other, however the South American could face the hardest moments of the fight. The fight ended in Split decision. Luigi Boscarelli scored it 112-116 to Soro, while Danilo Dongo and Pasquale Procopio scored it 115-113 for Castano.

This way the Argentine win his first 154 lbs defense and turns his record to 14-0, 10 ko’s.
