In a thrilling showdown in Birmingham, England, hometown star Chantelle Cameron delivered a commanding performance to become the new World Boxing Association (WBA) Super Welterweight World Champion, defeating talented American Mikaela Mayer by unanimous decision.

The judges’ scorecards reflected the British fighter’s control throughout ten hard-fought rounds, with scores of 97-93, 97-93 and 96-94, sending the crowd inside the British venue into celebration. Cameron now holds the WBA, WBC and WBO titles.

From the opening bell, Cameron executed a calculated and suffocating game plan.
