Zelfa Barrett won the World Boxing Association (WBA) International super featherweight belt by dethroning Jordan Gill on Saturday in the main event held at the Manchester Arena in the United Kingdom. 

Barrett stepped into the ring to face Gill, a tough opponent who came with the belt in his possession, but the challenger was able to take advantage in a tough fight and finish by technical knockout in the tenth round.

Barrett knew how to be patient and take advantage of each of his skills to take this great victory after all. At the time of the stoppage he was up on the scorecards 86-85, 86-85 and 88-84 as evidence of his good performance. 

The new regional champion of the pioneer organization now has a record of 31 wins, 2 losses and 17 knockouts, while Gill left his record at 28 wins, 3 losses, 1 draw and 9 knockouts.
