The American Austin Williams conquered the WBA International middleweight title by defeating the English Kieron Conway, in Las Vegas, in the Canelo and GGG undercard.

The scorecards were 97-92, 97-92 and 96-93, all for “Ammo”, who gave a great fight made a good impression and won the vacant WBA regional title.

The 26-year-old fighter noted days ago that he has been struggling with mental health issues but felt recovered enough to take on a challenge of this magnitude and his confidence and the great job he did in the ring showed.

He has great talent and has taken another big step in his career to keep moving up and looking for better fights. It was the 12th victory in Williams’ career, who is undefeated and has 9 knockouts. Conway, on the other hand, dropped his record to 18 wins, 3 losses, 1 draw and 4 knockouts.
