The World Boxing Association Super Bantamweight Interim Champion Alys “La China” Sánchez travelled to Mexico to fight the Chamion in Recess Jackie Nava, on Saturday 24 May of 2014 in the Municipal Auditorium of Tijuana.
Sanchez completed her preparation in Venezuela and travelled with her team sure to have a great fight with the Mexican champion.
On her behalf, Nava is coming back from her maternity leave, is looking for a convincing victory against “La China” Sanchez. Her last fight was in August 2012, and has a record of 28-4-3, 12-KO´s. The Venezuelan has 12.1.1, 4 KO´s.
The fight will have only female officials with Romina Arroyo as referee, and the American judges Gloria Martínez, Lynn Carter and Carla Caíz in the score cards. The Venezuelan Noryoli Gil will be the supervisor.
In the same program will be fighting the Interim champion super flyweight David “Tornado” Sánchez and the Venezuelan Breilor Terán.
Sánchez has a record of 24-2-2, 19 KO´s and Terán has 13-9-1, 6 KO´s.
