Pablo Ezequiel Acosta conquered the World Boxing Association (WBA) Fedelatin cruiserweight title with a third round knockout over Jean Carlos Mina at the Polideportivo Islas Malvinas, in Mar del Plata, Argentina.

The local fighter looked superior and with a hook to the liver knocked down the Ecuadorian who had no chance to get over the powerful blow early in the fight.

Acosta’s combinations were too much for the visitor. The 25-year-old fighter gave a great demonstration and a big step in his career that helps him continue to grow.

It was Acosta’s victory number 12, he has 9 knockouts and remains undefeated. Mina dropped to 8 wins and 2 losses.
