The World Boxing Association 135 lbs World champion, Richar Abril from Cuba and the local challenger Edis Tatli, met this Tuesday at the Press conference prior to their fight in Helsinski on Saturday.

Tatli, (23-0, 7 KO´s) Abril (18-3-1)’s challenger, admits he has to improve certain things to come out victorious, “I must concentrate in what do” and also confesed the champion is fast and he must counteract that.

“But he is not faster than me, I am sure of that” said Tatlis.

On his behalf, Abril said that fighting as the visitor does not afect him at all, and only makes him prepare better”.

Said he does not have weigh problem, feel good and strong for this defense. He also said he will dedicate his fight to his baby girl who will be born this weekend. “For me that is a good obstacle because it will make me finish with Tatli soon to go back to Miami to meet my baby girl”

He emphasized that does not take any merit from Tatli “if he has has got to where he is, is because he has done something good, but as I have always said I am a fighter and I adapt to the system in the ring.”

The officials appointed by the WBA are Steve Smoger, as referee, accompanied by the judging team César Ramos (PR), Hubert Earle (CAN) and Leszek Jamkowiak (POL).
