Before weighing day this Friday, the Lightweight 135-pound World Boxing Association Champion, Richard April and his Challenger, Edis Tatli from Finland, made a public workout prior to their show their conditions for Saturday September 20 in Helsinki.

Abril, 18-3-1, 8 KO´s, said he is not impressed to see Tatli work. “His conditions, if he has them, will be shown on the ring not outside”. He told the press he feel comfortable with the new trainer, “he is the same with whom I won the eight fights by KO.”

He said his trained with sparring partners similar to his opponent, strong with no technique.

Tatli, undefeated in 23 fights with 7 KO´s, also spoke to the local press.

The officials appointed for the fight are: Referee: Steve Smoger. Judges: Carla Caiz (US), Hubert Earle (CAN), and Leszek Jamkowiak (POL). Supervisor: Aurelio Fiengo (PAN).
