The “50 Years of Glory” boxing event, to be held on November 6, was officially presented on Tuesday at the University of Cartagena, Colombia. The event was attended by Antonio Cervantes, the legend will receive a tribute in this event.

There is no better way to celebrate a boxer than doing boxing and that is why the evening will be held in commemoration of the half century of the first world title of “Kid Pambelé”.

The event will feature Leonardo Carrillo and Edwin Barrios, who will fight for the World Boxing Association (WBA) Fedelatin belt in a 10-round bout, and will also feature talented boxers from several countries.

Cervantes spoke about his enthusiasm for the evening and his history as a boxer in front of an audience that was very attentive to the legendary athlete’s words.

“I have given glory to Colombia and I hope the guys coming up can do the same” said Cervantes regarding the new generations.

The Bernardo Caraballo Gymnasium will host this billboard, which promises to leave good action on the ring and pay tribute to the man who taught Colombia to win.
