Rupprecht goes for the fight of her life

Tina Rupprecht will challenge World Boxing Association (WBA) minimumweight champion Seniesa Estrada this Saturday in Fresno California. A fight between two champions that will leave the winner with the WBC and WBA crowns in her possession.

For the German it will be the most important fight of her career as she faces who is considered the best in the category and will seek to become unified champion by giving a bang on the table.

She has been WBC champion since 2017 and has defended that belt on several occasions with dominant performances that have helped her rise in the elite boxing and make a name for herself within this very complicated sport.

However, beyond defending her belt, she was looking for that bigger challenge and now it’s her turn to face one of the top boxing stars such as Estrada. It is worth mentioning that this will be Rupprecht’s first fight away from home, as he has made her entire career in Germany.

Fighting away from home for the first time may be something that could work against her, but on the other hand, her motivation is fighting in the United States, the most important market for boxing, which could add a lot of motivation to the European fighter.

Rupprecht may not be as well known in the United States, but she has the opportunity to gain a lot of recognition if she beats Seniesa. It’s all in her hands.
