Cartagena will have a big party this Sunday in commemoration of the 50th anniversary of Antonio Cervantes’ first world championship. The Bernardo Caraballo Coliseum will be the venue for a boxing cardbillboard tribute to the Colombian legend, which will be broadcast on ESPN Knock-Out for all of Latin America.

This week the fighters who will see action in the international event have been arriving to the tourist city. Fighters from Venezuela, Panama and, of course, Colombia, will step into the ring in a day that will have two World Boxing Association Fedelatin titles at stake.

The first bout that will have the Fedelatin belt at stake will be the highlight of the event. Leonardo Carrillo will face Edwin Barrios in a duel between Colombians for the regional super bantamweight belt.

On the other hand, Colombian Olga Julio and Venezuelan Yoselin Fernandez will clash for the Fedelatin super flyweight belt.

Other great talents will be present at the event, which will be the best way to pay tribute to Kid Pambelé’s feat. This Saturday will be the official weigh-in and on Sunday they will be ready to step into the ring.
